First Independent Bank of Nevada is participating in the FDIC’s Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under that program, through June 30, 2010, all non-interest bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in
the account.
Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the
FDIC’s general deposit insurance rules.
Listed below are the accounts that are fully guaranteed:
- All non-interest bearing accounts.
- IOLTA Accounts
- NOW accounts that have an interest rate of .50% or less
NOTE: Accounts with Mutual Funds Sweep features or Repurchase Agreements are not covered under this FDIC program for amounts that are swept from the account in accordance with customer’s agreement with the bank.
